Cyclists ride to encourage Catholic vocations
Original: Pedaling for vocations
A cycling initiative aimed at encouraging men to consider the priesthood is drawing attention. Participants pedal to raise awareness and support for vocations to religious life, combining physical endurance with prayer and outreach. The effort highlights a broader Catholic concern over declining numbers entering seminaries and religious orders, and it has been noted in church media as an example of grassroots promotion of religious life.
Why now: Declining priesthood vocations are a pressing concern for the Catholic Church, making creative awareness campaigns newsworthy.
