Norwegian blogger drives Niva Sport 2,000 km to Togliatti

Original: нива

A Norwegian blogger drove a Lada Niva Sport roughly 2,000 km to Togliatti, the home of AvtoVAZ, in a journey that Russian media say gives the automaker something to be proud of. The story is drawing attention in Russia as a rare positive example of the iconic Russian-built off-roader earning praise from a foreign driver abroad.

Why now: A foreign enthusiast's long-distance endorsement of the Niva Sport is being celebrated as positive publicity for AvtoVAZ.
