Wierd Duk clashes with Prime Minister Jetten over 'conspiracy theory' remark
Original: wierd duk
Dutch columnist Wierd Duk has publicly attacked Rob Jetten, accusing him of spreading a 'conspiracy theory' and asking what he was referring to. The exchange comes amid other headlines about Jetten, who now serves as prime minister, including his apology for saying 'we will slap them in the face' and commemorations of 7 October in an Amsterdam synagogue. Commentators are weighing in on the tone of the country's political debate.
Why now: Wierd Duk's pointed criticism of a prominent sitting prime minister is drawing attention in the Dutch media right now.
