EU officials slam Microsoft Teams alternative Element Pro

Original: 🔥 ‘Absolute shit’: EU’s Microsoft Teams alternative draws bad reviews from officials – POLITICO ｢ A third official said

EU officials are harshly criticizing Element Pro, the internal messaging and collaboration tool adopted as a Microsoft Teams alternative. The comments reflect frustration with the platform's performance as the bloc pushes digital sovereignty away from US software.

Why now: POLITICO's report on officials' blunt criticism of the EU's Teams replacement highlights the gap between the EU's tech sovereignty ambitions and its practical experience.
