Some buyers of Apple's $1,199 iPhone 18 Pro say their new phones arrived with a pink halo effect around the camera, and a number of them are asking for refunds. Reports circulating among Apple fans describe the discoloration as visible on devices straight out of the box. It remains unclear how widespread the issue is or whether Apple has responded to the complaints or adjusted its return policy.
Why now: Reports of a possible hardware defect in a flagship product just after launch are drawing attention and refund demands.
