Boeing's Starliner spacecraft and NASA are reportedly planning a flight mission set for 2028, according to a French-language report circulating online. The spacecraft has been grounded since its troubled 2024 crew flight, and any new mission date would mark a key step in the programme's recovery. Details of the reported 2028 target remain thin, and neither NASA nor Boeing has confirmed the plans in the shared coverage.
Why now: Any sign of a timetable for Starliner's return to flight draws attention after its high-profile 2024 setbacks.
