The classic magical girl anime 'Magical Princess Minky Momo' was set to receive its first new installment in 32 years, but the release has been postponed for what producers describe as production-related reasons. The original series aired in the early 1980s and remains a beloved staple of the genre, so the delay of its long-awaited revival has drawn attention from fans and anime news outlets.
Why now: A long-awaited revival of a classic anime franchise has been unexpectedly delayed, disappointing fans who were anticipating its return after three decades.
