Passenger credits TV show for quick action on flydubai flight
Original: Israeli passenger says he knew what to do on flydubai plane after watching TV show
An Israeli passenger aboard a flydubai flight says he knew how to respond during an in-flight incident because he had seen it depicted on a television show. He credits the program for guiding his actions before crew intervened. The story has drawn attention as an unusual example of TV knowledge proving useful in a real emergency at 35,000 feet.
Why now: The striking claim that a TV show prepared a passenger for a real aviation emergency is an unusual, shareable human-interest story.
