Vatican holds rosary for peace for the world's children
Original: A rosary in the Vatican for ‘peace for all the children in the world'
A rosary was prayed in the Vatican under the intention of 'peace for all the children in the world', according to Vatican News. The prayer initiative places children at the centre of the Church's appeals for peace, at a time when conflicts continue to affect young people in several regions. Details about who led the rosary and how many took part were not given.
Why now: Ongoing wars and the Vatican's peace appeals keep children-focused prayer initiatives newsworthy.
