The Pentagon has not invited several key allies to a meeting of NATO countries taking place this month in Poland, according to Politico. The reported snub follows earlier threats from Washington to compile a "list of good and bad" among allied nations. The move is drawing attention amid questions about US commitment to the alliance and its coordination with European partners, particularly in the context of support for Ukraine.
Why now: Reports of the US excluding allied nations from a NATO meeting raise concerns about alliance unity and Washington's shifting stance toward Europe.
