Rabbi rebukes Adam Brody over Gaza 'genocide' remarks
Original: Rabbi who coached Adam Brody for ‘Nobody Wants This’ calls him ‘ignorant Jew’ over Gaza ‘genocide’ comments
A rabbi who coached actor Adam Brody for his role in the Netflix series 'Nobody Wants This' has publicly called him an 'ignorant Jew' after Brody described Israel's conduct in Gaza as 'genocide'. The rebuke highlights divisions within the Jewish community over how to characterise the Gaza war, pitting a Hollywood actor's public stance against a religious figure who worked closely with him.
Why now: The personal relationship between the rabbi and the actor makes the public clash unusually pointed amid ongoing debate over Gaza.
