Researchers have unveiled an AI tool that can reconstruct what a person is looking at by analyzing their brain scans, recreating images with remarkable precision. The system reportedly works in reverse too, predicting brain activity from a given image. The development has sparked discussion online about both the scientific achievement and the privacy implications of technology that can effectively read visual thoughts from brain data.

Why now: People are discussing the striking implications of AI that can decode visual experiences from brain activity, including privacy concerns.
