Striker Nicolò Tresoldi courted by three national teams
Original: tresoldi
Young forward Nicolò Tresoldi, born in Cagliari, is being pursued by three senior national teams, with Italy and Germany reportedly the main contenders. The Germany under-21 international is in strong form, including a hat-trick, and reports say the German coach is continuing his push to secure him. Italian media frame the saga as a growing regret, noting Tresoldi supports Messi but is weighing a message to both federations.
Why now: Tresoldi's international decision between Italy and Germany is unresolved and his recent goals have reignited the debate.
