Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll has claimed the Honda F1 engine makes the team slower by up to two seconds a lap. The remark, made in an interview, has drawn attention from Formula 1 fans debating the performance gap between Honda's power unit and rival engines, and what it means for Aston Martin's competitiveness going forward.
Why now: Stroll's blunt criticism of his own team's engine supplier is striking and fuels ongoing debate about Honda's F1 power unit performance.
