Hombres G denounce censorship of their new single in Spain
Original: hombres g
Spanish pop rock band Hombres G say their new single is facing censorship, comparing the situation to their experience in Latin America four decades ago. In remarks reported by Lecturas, the group said it would be very serious if what happened to them 40 years ago in Latin America were now happening in Spain. The comments have drawn attention and debate.
Why now: The band's comparison of present-day Spain to the censorship they faced in 1980s Latin America has struck a chord with fans and media.
