Original: Women's Golf Earns Back-to-Back Weekly Award Sweeps
High Point University's women's golf team has collected weekly conference awards in back-to-back weeks, sweeping the honours for a second straight time. The sweep typically means the Panthers took both the overall and freshman of the week distinctions, a sign of strong recent form on the course. The university's athletics programme announced the recognition, marking a notable stretch for the squad this season.
Why now: The team's rare consecutive sweep of conference weekly golf awards highlights an impressive run of results.
