A Gaza resident has described the devastation of losing their home, neighborhood and family's lifelong possessions, writing that displacement has happened many times but the loss of everything the family worked for remains shocking. The account asks readers to imagine what it means to lose memories, warmth and a lifetime of effort in a single moment, as displacement continues across the territory.
