Scientists Drill At Claimed Noah's Ark Site
Original: Scientists Finally Drilled Into The Noah’s Ark Site
Reports claim that scientists have for the first time drilled into the site long associated with Noah's Ark, a geological formation in Turkey's mountains that some researchers and creationists have argued could contain petrified remains of the biblical vessel. Samples taken from the site are said to be undergoing analysis, and the drilling has reignited debate over whether scientific methods can settle the question of the Ark's existence.
Why now: The prospect of hard physical evidence from a famous biblical mystery is drawing wide public and religious interest.
