Southeast Asians rank climate change below economic concerns, survey finds

Original: # SoutheastAsia How concerned are Southeast Asians over the impact of climate change? A regional survey of more than 3,7

A regional survey of more than 3,700 people across Southeast Asia has found that climate change, despite its widely discussed risks, still ranks behind economic priorities for residents of the region. The findings suggest economic survival remains the primary concern for ordinary people, highlighting a gap between the urgency expressed in global climate debates and everyday financial pressures households face.

Why now: New survey data challenges the assumption that climate change tops the public's concerns in Southeast Asia.
