MLB will not stage a game at Grand Teton park

Original: Rob Manfred -- MLB won't consider game at Grand Teton park

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred says the league will not consider playing a game at Grand Teton National Park. The decision ends speculation that baseball's recent run of special-event games in scenic or unusual locations could extend to the Wyoming park. No game had been scheduled, and the league appears to have ruled the site out as a venue for a future showcase event.

Why now: Manfred's public ruling on a possible game at the national park is new and fans are discussing where MLB might hold future special events.
