Steam Deck players reportedly preparing for GTA 6
Original: Some people are mysteriously getting ready for GTA 6 on the Steam Deck Here's the top 50 most played games on Steam Deck
Players on Valve's Steam Deck handheld are reportedly getting ready for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, despite the device's limited hardware. The item appeared alongside Valve's list of the 50 most played games on Steam Deck for September 2026. Commenters find the preparation curious given that GTA 6 is not expected to run well, or at all, on the handheld.
Why now: GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games ever, so any mention of players preparing hardware for it draws attention.
