SpaceX Crew-13 reaches ISS in fastest US flight yet
Original: SpaceX Crew-13 astronauts dock at ISS less than 8 hours after launch in fastest American flight ever
The four astronauts of SpaceX's Crew-13 mission have docked with the International Space Station less than eight hours after launching from Florida, completing the quickest American crewed flight to the orbiting laboratory to date. The fast rendezvous shortens the time crews spend in a cramped capsule and reflects growing confidence in SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft and NASA's docking procedures.
Why now: The record-breaking speed of the crewed flight to the ISS is a notable milestone in commercial spaceflight.
