Major League Baseball has cancelled a proposal to stage a regular-season game at Grand Teton National Park, per The Athletic. The plan had drawn attention as an unusually scenic neutral-site concept, but it will not go ahead. Details on why the league dropped the idea have not been widely reported, and reaction so far has been limited to the initial report.
Why now: The unusual idea of playing professional baseball in a national park drew curiosity, and its cancellation is new news.
