Traffic Remembered as a Rock Band at Heart

Original: Forgotten Record Review: Traffic was a rock band at heart

A retrospective review revisits Traffic, the British rock band formed in 1967 by Steve Winwood and Dave Mason, arguing that despite their experiments with jazz and psychedelia they were at heart a rock group. The piece reflects on the band's place in 1960s and 1970s rock history.

Why now: Nostalgia and retrospective music coverage of classic rock acts continues to draw reader interest.
