Bandcamp Friday returns as independent artists promote their music
Original: It's Bandcamp Friday again tomorrow. What are you gonna do about it, huh??? ...maybe buy my album? 🤞 chaliceofwrath.band
Bandcamp Friday is taking place again tomorrow, the recurring event where the platform waives its fees so independent artists keep more of each sale. Musicians are using the day to promote their releases, with one metal artist openly asking followers to consider buying their album. The monthly event remains a key sales moment for independent musicians, who encourage fans to support them directly rather than on streaming services.
Why now: The recurring fee-waiver event gives independent artists a concentrated sales opportunity, prompting a wave of self-promotion across music communities.
