'Everybody' brings rotating cast to Roberts Studio Theatre
Original: ‘Everybody’ brings rotating cast, new perspectives to Roberts Studio Theatre
The play 'Everybody' is being staged at Roberts Studio Theatre, featuring a rotating cast in which performers draw lots each night to determine their roles. The production is drawing attention for its novel format and the fresh perspectives the casting device brings to Branden Jacobs-Jenkins's contemporary reworking of the medieval morality play 'Everyman'.
Why now: The show's unusual rotating-cast format and its run at the campus theatre have generated local interest.
