Original: "Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts." — Rach
A quote from environmentalist Rachel Carson — "Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts" — is being shared alongside praise for young farmers in Uganda. Advocates say these farmers draw the same strength from the soil, building quiet resilience season after season, harvest after harvest, as part of efforts promoting nutritious foods.
Why now: The Rachel Carson quote is being used to celebrate and promote young farmers' resilience in Uganda's nutrition-focused agriculture movement.
