Rainbow Wahine Sweep Doubles Before Rain Halts Season Opener

Original: Rainbow Wahine Sweep Doubles Before Rain Suspends Season Opener

Hawaii's Rainbow Wahine tennis team swept the doubles matches in their season opener before rain suspended play. The early sweep gave Hawaii a strong start to the new season, though the match's remaining singles rounds were left unplayed pending resumption. The result marks an encouraging opening to the team's campaign, with attention now turning to when and how the match will be completed.

Why now: Rain delaying the outcome of a season-opening match after a strong doubles start gives fans reason to follow up on the result.
