Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv bridges, crossings shut
Original: Luftangriffe auf Kiew dauern an - Brücken gesperrt Russland greift weiter ukrainische Infrastruktur an. Am Morgen wurde
A Russian drone struck the Southern Bridge in Kyiv on Thursday morning, one of the city's key east-west routes. Ukrainian authorities closed that bridge and several others as air attacks on the capital and other infrastructure targets continued. The damage to a major transport link underscores the ongoing pressure on Ukraine's infrastructure, with Russian strikes showing no sign of easing.
Why now: Ongoing Russian air attacks and the closure of a key Kyiv bridge are fresh developments in the war drawing immediate attention.
