Mutual aid checkpoint gathers requests for those in need

Original: 📣MUTUAL AID CHECKPOINT 02/10/2026📣 Post your needs or your friend's needs below 👇🏻 Include the need, deadline (if any),

An organizer on Mastodon has posted a mutual aid checkpoint calling on people to share their own or their friends' needs in the replies, along with deadlines and payment handles or crowdfunding links, and urging others to boost the post and every reply to amplify reach. The thread is being used as a recurring space for grassroots financial and practical support requests across a global network.

Why now: Communities online regularly organize these checkpoint threads to crowdfund and coordinate direct support for people in urgent need.
