Inktober, the annual October drawing challenge, has begun, with artists posting their Day 1 pieces under the prompt 'Apple'. Early entries include an ink illustration of Applejack, the farm pony from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, shared with art and Inktober 2026 hashtags. Participants around the world are expected to keep posting one ink drawing a day throughout the month.
Why now: It is the first day of October, when the annual Inktober drawing challenge starts and artists share their opening pieces.
