A wildlife gardener reports spotting a small frog in one of the garden ponds, noting that frogs are becoming more visible as temperatures drop. The observation brings relief that at least some frogs survived the recent heat and drought, which had raised concerns about local amphibian populations in ponds and garden habitats.
Why now: People are discussing wildlife recovery after summer heat and drought.
