Original: This tiny gadget turns your CarPay or Android Auto wireless – without upgrading your car
A small adapter is being covered by tech and auto outlets as a way to turn existing wired CarPlay or Android Auto systems wireless without replacing the car's head unit. The device plugs into the car's USB port and connects a phone over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, letting drivers keep their current infotainment setup. Coverage is framing it as a cheap upgrade for older vehicles that only support wired connections.
