AT&T says iOS update will fix iPhone call problems
Original: Optimistic AT&T tells iPhone 18 Pro Max an iOS update will fix call problems
AT&T is telling customers that call problems on their iPhones will be resolved through an upcoming iOS software update, rather than a carrier-side fix. The claim, reported by AppleInsider, suggests the carrier blames Apple's software for dropped or faulty calls. It is not clear whether Apple has confirmed such a fix is coming.
Why now: Readers are reacting to AT&T deflecting responsibility for call quality issues onto Apple's software.
