Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is reportedly under renewed attack, disrupting vessel transit through the strategic chokepoint. The PortWatch tracker recorded just one vessel moving on September 27, around 1% of typical traffic, while Saudi Arabia's Petroline East-West Pipeline bypass remains shut. Analysts describe crisis pressure in the region as extreme, raising concerns over global oil and cargo flows.
