Is Your Church a 'Place Where' or a 'People Who'?
Original: Is Your Church a “Place Where” or a “People Who”?
A Christian apologetics writer has posed a question to congregations: is your church merely a 'place where' things happen, or a 'people who' live out their faith? The framing challenges churches to define themselves by their members' active witness rather than by their building, programmes or services. It is being shared among Christians debating what makes a church truly a church.
Why now: It sparks self-examination among churchgoers about the identity and purpose of their congregations.
