Kyiv defence council reviews traffic on Dnipro bridges, Klitschko says

The Kyiv Defence Council, chaired by Mayor Vitali Klitschko, has reviewed traffic movement on the bridges across the Dnipro river, with the council's proposals to be passed to central government authorities. The Kyiv Metro says it is ready to restore service on the Southern Bridge on the green line under a yellow air-raid alert level, but only after receiving the relevant expert approvals. The talks focus on balancing daily transit needs with security restrictions in the capital.
Why now: Ukraine's capital is weighing when to reopen bridge crossings and metro service amid ongoing air-raid alert restrictions.
