Claim spreads that Italy has banned the burqa nationwide
Original: Italy Just BANNED Muslim Burqa Across ENTIRE Country as European Residents REVOLT Against Invasion 🔥
Commentator Benny Johnson is claiming that Italy has banned the Muslim burqa across the entire country, framing it as part of a European backlash against mass immigration. No Italian law or government decision banning the face veil is cited in the claim, and Italy has no such nationwide burqa ban in place. The assertion is circulating widely among right-leaning audiences, drawing strong engagement and fueling debate over immigration and religious dress in Europe.
Why now: The sensational claim of a national burqa ban fits ongoing heated debate over immigration and Islam in Europe, driving shares even without confirmation.
