Believers Asked What Else They Accept on Faith
Original: Theists: What else in your life besides God do you accept as the truth because there’s no way to disprove it? __________
A question aimed at theists is circulating online, asking what else in their lives they accept as true simply because it cannot be disproven, besides God. The prompt is drawing discussion among religious and atheist users about the nature of faith, unfalsifiable beliefs, and how people justify what they hold to be true.
Why now: It challenges believers to examine the epistemology of faith, a recurring point of friction between religious and atheist communities.
