Fast & Furious TV series greenlit at Peacock
Original: Fast & Furious TV series gets official green light at Peacock
Peacock has officially given the green light to a Fast & Furious television series, expanding the blockbuster action franchise beyond film. The franchise, which has grossed billions worldwide with Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson among its stars, will now extend its high-octane car-heist formula to streaming television for the first time.
Why now: The Fast & Furious franchise is one of the biggest in film, so news of its first TV adaptation is a major entertainment story.
