Sony Brings AI Upscaling to Base PS5
Original: sony playstation
Sony has rolled out its QSSR AI upscaling feature to the standard PlayStation 5, delivering sharper visuals on games without requiring players to buy the more expensive PS5 Pro. The update means base console owners get improved image quality through software rather than upgraded hardware, narrowing the gap between the two models.
Why now: Gamers are discussing the update because it brings a headline PS5 Pro feature to the base console for free.
