Peter Thiel sparks debate with remark on evil and goodness
Original: Thiel: "If you're evil maybe you're kind of good"
Venture capitalist Peter Thiel is quoted saying "If you're evil maybe you're kind of good," a remark being framed as part of his broader commentary on the Antichrist and moral inversion. Critics read the statement as a troubling moral relativism from one of Silicon Valley's most influential political donors, while supporters view it as a provocation about conventional judgments of good and evil.
Why now: Thiel remains a polarising figure in US politics and tech, and a statement that appears to invert morality naturally draws strong reaction.
