Artists continuing the Birdtober 2026 challenge are sharing a drawing a day, and the latest pick is the iiwi, a Hawaiian honeycreeper known for its long curved bill adapted to feeding on nectar. The post, shared in French, celebrates the bird with a nature drawing and tags connecting the wildlife art community across Birdtober and Inktober.

Why now: The Birdtober drawing challenge is underway, prompting artists to post one bird illustration per day.
