Original: Photo Friday: MLB in Grand Teton? We found seven existing or recent baseball diamonds in that park and in Yellowstone —
WyoFile reports that researchers identified seven existing or recent baseball diamonds inside Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone, located at Moose, Moran, Old Faithful, Mammoth, West Thumb, Canyon Village and Fishing Bridge. The outlet published aerial photos of each site in its Photo Friday feature, raising the question of whether MLB could ever play in a national park setting.
Why now: The unusual idea of major league baseball being played inside famous national parks is a surprising, photo-driven curiosity.
