Original: Kennedy Center Honors to be held at Capital One Arena amid fight over adding Trump's name

This year's Kennedy Center Honors will be held at Capital One Arena in Washington rather than the institution's own hall, amid an ongoing dispute over adding President Trump's name to the Kennedy Center. The move comes as the venue's leadership and naming have become politically contested, drawing attention to how the prestigious arts ceremony will be staged and received this year.

Why now: The relocation of a major cultural event, tied to the politically charged fight over Trump's name on the Kennedy Center, is prompting wide attention.
