Würzburg among Germany's excellent universities

Original: würzburg

The University of Würzburg is being named among the winners of Germany's Excellence Strategy, the federal and state programme that awards universities the 'excellence university' title. BILD's coverage asks which federal states made the list, drawing attention to where the funded institutions are located and prompting readers to check whether their own state is represented among the selected universities.

Why now: New results of the national excellence university competition have just been published, driving searches for Würzburg.
