San Antonio cemetery to host free 'Hocus Pocus' outdoor screening
Original: Picnic and a movie: Free ‘Hocus Pocus’ screening coming to San Antonio cemetery
A free outdoor screening of the 1993 Halloween classic 'Hocus Pocus' is being held at a cemetery in San Antonio, with organisers inviting attendees to bring a picnic and watch the film among the gravestones. The event pairs the spooky seasonal favourite with an atmospheric venue, and local coverage has drawn attention to the unusual choice of location for a family-friendly movie night.
Why now: The Halloween-season event's unusual venue — a cemetery — makes it a novelty worth sharing.
