Ukraine's presidential office unsure when Roshchyna hero title will be decided

Original: В ОП не знають, коли розглянуть подання про присвоєння Рощиній звання Героя України посмертно В Офісі президента України

The Office of the President of Ukraine says it has no information on when the expert group will consider a submission to posthumously award journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna the title Hero of Ukraine. The response, reported by Ukrainian Pravda, highlights uncertainty around the recognition of the journalist, who died after being held in Russian captivity, prompting criticism over delays in honouring her.

Why now: Roshchyna's death in Russian captivity made her a symbol of press repression, and the delay in posthumous recognition is drawing public attention.
