Sinner passes motorcycle licence on fifth attempt

Original: tennista

Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner has passed his motorcycle driving licence on the fifth try, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, which describes him as breaking yet another taboo. The story is drawing attention in Italy as a lighthearted, humanising glimpse of the world number one, whose every move off the court tends to make headlines in his home country.

Why now: Fans in Italy are amused and interested by the off-court news that their top tennis champion failed his motorbike test four times before passing.
