NBA won't discipline Bub Carrington over Wizards tanking remark

Original: NBA not expected to discipline Bub Carrington for saying the Wizards were tanking for AJ Dybantsa

Bub Carrington said the Washington Wizards were tanking in pursuit of top draft prospect AJ Dybantsa, but the NBA is reportedly not expected to punish him for the comment. The remark has drawn attention because it put blunt words on long-standing fan suspicions about losing on purpose to improve draft odds.

Why now: Carrington's public tanking accusation about his own team touches a sensitive issue the NBA usually avoids acknowledging.
